Brian chaired the meeting.
Old Business:
- Exploration
of cell phone or answering service as alternative to pager.
- Possibility
of Intergroup office space at 511 Melrose
- Rekindling
the Annual Intergroup banquet and Ney YearÕs Eve Party
All Old Business was tabled until next week when Jerry I can
report back with information he has gathered on these topics.
TreasurerÕs Report:
Submitted
by Ed.M. Since last report of one
month ago, bills paid and
donations received left a balance of $467.11. Report was moved and accepted unanimously.
New Business:
- Crave
had questions about how to get literature etc. He was referred to the district Literature person.
- Barb M
has agreed to be the Intergroup webmaster. She will have the online meeting schedule updated by
the end of the weekend, accessable at:
www.aa-ic.org
This will include a printable schedule and
appropriate links to District and New York GSO, as well as phone contacts
listed on the meeting schedule. She will also scan in current flyers of upcoming AA
events. Webmaster link will now go
to Barb.
- Attendance
at monthly Intergroup meetings is again waning and has been steadily
decreasing in the past few months.
Those present were asked to get the word out to other Intergroup
representatives to support the monthly meeting. All agreed.
- We are
still looking for more groups who are willing to carry the pager for a
week at a time. SO far,
Thursday By the Book and the Friday MenÕs group have committed. Everyone present will ask other
groups they attend if they would be willing to take the pager for a week
at a time.
The meeting was adjourned at
11:20.
