Web Page Report:

Submitted by Barb M.

The meeting schedule on the web is current.  Any corrections should be given to Tim H. via phone or email.  See an Intergroup member for TimÕs phone number or email address.

Old Business:

á      Banquet:

A huge success.  Brian thanked Barb for all her efforts in making the event happen.  People really missed the auction and asked to have it next year.  Perhaps the proceeds could be donated to GSO.

á      12th Step Panel

1.     Panelists are uncertain what they are supposed to do.  Decided Brian will chair and will start with a brief (2 minute) talk about the pager and 12th Step calls.  He will introduce the panelists, who will share their experience for 10 minutes each.  Questions and answers will follow.

2.     Ed and Annie will get the pizza and pop.  Plan for 30 people.

3.     No charge but will have donation basket.

4.     2 tables:  1 for pizza and 1 for the panelists.

á      12th Step Call List

Annie will have the updated womenÕs list next month.  Tim is doing the menÕs list.  Annie is moving to Ames; Jacqueline K. will now be the Midwest Group representative.

New Business:

á      Intergroup Co-Chair position is open.  Responsibilities include the pager and communications.

á      Intergroup does not currently pay for its monthly meeting space.  Discussed making a monthly donation to Uptown BillÕs.  After much discussion, Annie moved to pay $20 per month and to reevaluate the expense if it should ever become a problem due to lack of funds.  Susan seconded; motion carried.

á      Mary learned that the pager went unanswered last month.  She then tried it herself and did not receive a call back.  Mary attended the meeting to voice her concern over this.  All agreed that it is critical to maintain this service at all times.  The Thursday Night Big Book Study Group now has the pager.  This reinforces the need to fill the co-chair position.

á      The voicemail schedule needs to be updated.  Sean agreed to do it one more time before passing that responsibility on.

á      Midwest Group/Sunday Night Al-Anon Group hosting the Family Afterward party on August 4.

The meeting adjourned at 11:30.m.

Respectfully submitted by Susan H.
