Yearly bills come to around $1800, so we should be good for 10 or 11
months.  I don't know if most groups realize having 1675 doesn't mean we
are sitting on a bunch of spending money.

Old Business:

NYE party was a enjoyed by all.  We came within $15 of covering expenses.

Eric submitted a bill of $ 83.22 for pop and coffee.

We paid Steve $100 for providing the sound system.

Baby sitter has been paid and we still owe the church rent.

New Business:

Jeff W. and Bill R. from the Misfits ask us to include their meetings on our meeting schedule list.  We informed them we download our schedules from District.  They said they were having a problem getting included on the District list, we empathized with them.  We informed them Tim H. is the District schedule guy.  Bill read a description of the Misfits group and ask us to include it in the minutes.

The Misfits group of Alcoholics Anonymous of  Iowa City has been meeting since September 1, 2008 at 705 HWY 1 West #1.  The Misfits group is recognized by AA World Services and is registered under GSN685552.  The Misfits are regularly attended by 20 -40 men and women nightly.  At the Misfits the newcomer is the most important person and visitors are very welcome.  The Misfits are 12 & 12 and Big Book based.  Most aptly stated the Misfits are as described in the AA preamble.
